Lockdown Latest - Church Closure
The church is closed until further notice and all Masses will be live streamed only.
Whilst every effort has been made to provide as high a level of safety as possible for people coming to Mass in church at St Aidan's, that may not be sufficient to protect parishioners from the present aggressive spread of the new virus strain. Added to that, we are in an area that is designated as ‘critical incident’ for hospitals and emergency services. It is safest, therefore, to heed the government appeal to 'stay at home'. This decision will be reviewed regularly.
