14th Coulsdon Brownies and Guides

Brownies is for girls age 7–10 and Guides for girls aged 10–14. Both groups come under the umbrella of Girlguiding UK. Brownies and Guides both run on a Monday evening in term time in the Parish hall: Brownies 5:45–7:15pm and Guides 6:30pm–8:00pm.

All sections in Girlguiding are inclusive, no matter what faith, race, culture, nationally, sexual orientation or ability. Guiding is a place for girls to have fun, adventures and variety; it supports girls to broaden their horizons, challenge themselves and be the best they can be.

Currently in Brownies we have a couple of spaces become available each term and there are spaces at Guides as we are an growing unit; both units have active waiting lists. If you are interested in you daughter getting involved in Guiding, please register your interest on go.girlguiding.org.uk/join-us/join-as-member/. It will show you the units locally and we are the 14th Coulsdon Brownies and Guides. Once you have registered and chosen our unit you will hear from the leader Kirsten Flett; please do not turn up during a meeting as it is a safeguarding issue and the leaders won’t have be able to leave the girls to talk. It is advisable to register your daughter at least a year early as we do fill our spaces very quickly.

Our units are made up from girls who go to a range of local schools which gives diversity and a great opportunity to meet new friends. We look forward to hearing from you and maybe welcoming your daughter.
