If you are thinking of attending Mass this weekend we would like to give you a quick reminder of the arrangements. All weekend Masses are back to the usual times and will be live streamed.
Before you leave home
Either: bring with you a piece of paper with your name, contact details (email/phone number or address) and the names of all the people who will be accompanying you.
Or: pre-register this information at (click here)
Do not forget to bring and wear your mask.
Arrive at the church in good time; the number of people allowed into the church is strictly limited and entry will be on a first-come first-in basis. Pre-registration does not mean priority.
Remember the toilets will not be in use at the church.
There is no restriction on people from vulnerable categories and no upper age limit; however, young people under 16 years and children should be accompanied by an adult.
When you arrive at the church
Place your contact details paper where indicated or inform the steward you have pre-registered.
There will be clear signage on the pews indicating where to sit and stewards to direct you to a place.
Maintain 1 metre distance from others at all times.
During Mass
Stewards will direct you for distribution of Communion.
After Mass
Please leave the church as directed by the stewards and do not linger in the church entrance. By all means greet each other in the car park (maintaining social distancing).
We sincerely hope these arrangements do not deter you from attending and that they will not detract too much from the experience of returning to Mass in the church. We would like to make it clear that the limit on places, the wearing of masks, the 1-metre distancing and the need for registration are all government requirements. We have no discretion about these measures and we have a legal obligation to enforce them.
Shielding
Those shielding should refer to the Government advice and be aware of the changes in that advice from 1st August with regard to church attendance.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
