Parish Task Force starts up again next Saturday 22nd May

The Premises Team are a small dedicated group of volunteers who take care of all aspects of health and safety and the maintenance of the church building, the hall and the grounds. One of their activities is to organise a monthly “Task Force”. This presents all parishioners to give a couple of hours a month on small but essential tasks to keep our beautiful church and grounds safe and well maintained. These tasks do not require specific skills or abilities, there is something for everyone.
Understandably, this activity has been suspended due to Covid but the team feel that we are now at the stage where we can safely start up again, subject to some restrictions. All parishioners are welcome to join in, everyone can make a contribution. Parishioners can volunteer to join the Task Force on the day and time designated but for those who prefer to work on their own on another day they will be able to do so if they let us know. We will assign them a task that they are happy with.
The next Task Force will be on Saturday 22nd May between 10.00am and 12.00 noon. As well as seeing the return of our regulars we would be delighted to see the return of parishioners who have volunteered in the past as well of course as new faces.
Whether you would like to join the Task Force on May 22nd or volunteer for a specific task we would love to hear from you. Speak to Fr Peter or any member of the team. You can of course just turn up at 10.00am on the 22nd May

You can email us on staidanspremisesteam@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you on the 22nd !
